Harman Kardon Citation One MKIII

 

We begin with Citation’s flagship all-in-one speaker to rival the likes of the Google Nest Max and Amazon Echo Studio: this is the Citation One MKIII. 

The One MKIII is designed to be a jack-of-all-trades smart speaker that offers listeners a rich, punchy sound for a reasonable price. Built with a luxurious premium blended wool fabric made by Kvadrat, this smart speaker drops right into any elegant living space. 

Inside is one 20mm tweeter and an 89mm woofer, combining to churn out 40W of power. The One MKIII offers plenty of punch whilst still delivering detailed mids and highs. Hi-Fi lovers prefer this product to the likes of the Nest Max and Echo Studio for its balanced, audiophile-grade sound.

Harman Kardon Citation 200 Portable Speaker

 

The Harman Kardon Citation 200 inhabits the interesting market sector of premium portable speakers – offering a loud, punchy sound to go. The 200 is the first in the Citation family to be kitted out with a battery, lasting around 8 hours on a single charge. 

The Citation 200 shares the rest of the line-up’s smart Scandinavian design, with the speaker wrapped in the same Kvadrat fabric blend. With this, Harman Kardon has included IPX4 water resistance. 

Inside is one 25mm tweeter and one glorious 120mm woofer to offer some great tonal range. This speaker is certainly tuned to suit the tastes of portable speaker users – with a bass-heavy sound bound to please house party goers. It isn’t as balanced as some of the other entries in the Citation range.  

Nevertheless, the Citation 200 gets plenty loud and is attractively punchy. It also has Google Assistant built-in, but this will only work when you’re connected to Wi-Fi.

The Sub connects with any other Citation speaker to create a surround sound 5.1 cinematic experience. We recommend pairing the Sub with the Harman Kardon Citation Tower. But it can also accompany a Citation MultiBeam 700 or Citation Bar. 

This 10” subwoofer provides a massive 200W of power. This high-quality subwoofer provides bass that you can feel. It’s a perfect companion with other Citation home cinema speakers for an ultra-premium movie-watching and music listening experience. 

Harman Kardon Citation 500 & 300

Both the Citation 500 and 300 offer listeners a brilliant, balanced sound in an attractive tabletop form factor. These elegant smart speakers make great companions in any home. 

The Citation 500 is the larger of the two, measuring 21.2cm tall and 37.2cm wide. It’s powered by a high quality 25mm tweeter and a massive 131mm woofer. This results in 200W of power and a punchy, addictive sound. 

On the other hand, the Citation 300 is touted as a “medium-size” tabletop speaker. With a height of 18cm and a width of 30.6cm, it’s marginally smaller than its bigger brother. This speaker packs in a 20mm tweeter and an 89mm woofer.

Both speakers provide a rich sound signature, a room-filling sound and multi-room capability. As is the case with the rest of the line-up, both the 500 and 300 come with Google Assistant built-in and have access to over 300 music streaming services thanks to Wi-Fi streaming.

Harman Kardon Citation Oasis DAB

For the Citation Oasis DAB, Harman Kardon has brought their luxury touch to the classic DAB radio for this compact yet stylish clock speaker. 

Made from the same sturdy Kvadrat wool blend as the rest of the family, the Oasis shares the Citation range’s smart Scandinavian design. Only this speaker features a large LED display to show the time, the station playing and more. 

We also appreciate the Qi wireless charging pad on the top of the device, making this the perfect bedside clock radio. 

The Oasis features a DAB receiver, allowing you to listen to any DAB radio station in your area including BBC Radio 1. However, if that’s not your jam, this is still a Wi-Fi speaker – unlocking thousands of internet radio stations and over 300 music streaming platforms.
